Will it be possible to "import" the party used to clear Grimrock in future content?
Seeing how it is impossible to max the characters in the main game it would be nice to be able to develop their skills further.
Possible to reuse party in DLC & user edited dungeons?

Hopefully, this hasn't been confirmed though.

I'm all for this too, although I suppose you have to be careful that someone doesn't max out all their stats playing loads of user-created content, and then smashes all upcoming DLC to pieces with their godlike level 50 army. Perhaps it might be an idea to have two versions of your party: one which is only used in official releases, and can be carried from LoG1 to LoG2 etc. so that all players' parties are of similar stats and have a fair challenge, and a second version of your party which is more of a free-for-all and can be used and abused in user-created content.
People not wishing to import their LoG1 parties into DLC could have the option to choose a new party, whose base stats are approx. Level 12-14. A bit like how it works with Chaos Strikes Back.

It would make sense for Dungeons to have a level range, NWN2 mods did this.

The addition of a simple character export and import would make this easy as pie.
Export characters from end game save. Import them into new DLC or user made content.
You could check for levels to kick back and error if the character is to high or low for content.
Heck you could even have content flagged to allow or disallow importing inventories if you worry about that sort of balance.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
