How to change class (stupid mistake edition Inc.)?

Ok, now I feel REALLY stupid.

I'm playing the game for about 20 hours now and I just noticed my rogue is in fact... a fighter.

I told myself it was wierd that there were now ranged weapon skills when I started the game... Then, today, I stumbled on a topic about Missile Weapons skill. Then I realised my rogue was in fact a fighter. I also noticed he's named New prisoner, which remembers me I did give him a name and did chose the thief class. I guess I chose the character as a human and then decided to make him a lizardman. It must have ben when I changed the race that the class and name reseted (it's a flaw of the game if so!). Tss, and I though the game was hard. Now I know why! lol

Now... is there a was to fix my foolish mistake (through cheats or gamefile edit, or whatever) or am I stuck with the Noname fighter through the other half of the game?

On wich level are you? 20hours game seems like you may/may not be near the end of the game :)

Yeah, not that far, a bit over half I guess. I just completed level 6 (trapped). My characters are level 9.

(20 hours are Steam calculated time which includes some idle time when I let the game opened while doing something else)

I've tried what I suspected be the bug that caused this (choosing the class and skills as a human and than changing the race) and... it's not happening lol. Geez, unless that have been fixed in the last patch, I must admit that I screwed up badly

I think you can get by without a rogue. Its hard but possible. Without a mage wouldve been harder

Yeah, I struggle a bit at times but I still suceeded the Warrior's challenge :D

It still bugs me that I don't get all I should get from ranged attacks. So, anyone knows a workaround?

Don't know of one. With the developer console you can do all sorts of stuff, but even there, I would be pretty unsure about being able to make that do what you want.
