Hello guys,
I have a question about the party members gaining experience. I have found many informations how the experience is gained when you kill a monster, if you damaged it or not etc. etc.
But what I have not found is if the exp points you receive are distributed equally among the 4 party members, for example if I kill a monster worth of 100xp, if everyone gets 100xp, or if the 100xp is divided, so everyone gets 25xp.
In other words, is gaining levels faster when playing a solo game with one character?
Thanks for answering!

Re: Experience
Experience is awarded and distributed differently in LoG. The experience points that appear when you vanquish a monster represents the experience points each character receives who participated in the attack. Characters who did not attack only receive 50% of the displayed experience points. The experience points are fixed for each creature, so if a snail is worth 60 XP with a group of 4, then it is still worth 60 XP with a group of 1.
I even tested how earning experience points works when you only have 1 person alive in your group. Each monster has a set XP value that is distributed (not divided) to each member of your party who participated in attacking it; characters who did not attack only receive 50% of the XP value. So, the number of experience points earned does not increase when adventuring with only 1 character.

Re: Experience
Thank you, Blade Runner.
I thought that playing solo is a challenge by itself (notably as the you-know-who in the secret mode), so gaining experience faster would make it up for the lack of party damage. Well, I'm going to try it anyway, despite of the character being not as powerful as I thought it would be.

Did not know that people who didn't participate still get 50%. Thanks for the info, Blade Runner!
