As in topic. yes, i have seen the "buy" tag on the website. My problem is a bit differnet.
I am not up to touch with modern e-commerce, and don't really understand how to buy it. There is nowwhere a decent FAQ only a legel babble with i fear to misunderstand (english is not my native language)
Normaly when i buy something online i just use direct transfer to account method and have a boxed anything shipped to me,
but i've read this method is popular only in Poland (a local phenomenon),
so i have lots of questions.
Is downloading reasumeable? If i download 99% and power goes out will it be possible to reassume download? Or will i have to start again from zero? will i lose money if this happen?
Then, what are the consequences of chossing a source? I understand, that if i buy a game directly from creators, i will download files, whith i can save to DVD. On the other hand if i loose the file, i have to buy another one.
If i use Steam (don't really know how to, yet) most of file stays in the cloud, so no worry about loosing one, but i need to have internet acces all the time. Is that right?
How does GOG work? I couldn,t find FAQ too.
The dumbest question. How to pay with a card? I assume it is enough to write the numeber, and the money will be just taken from my account? Anything i should know?
Sorry if those questions seem dumb, but as a dinosaur (who else loves dungeaon crawlers of old? ) i have no experience in the field, and 12$ don't lay on a pavement.
How to buy it
Re: How to buy it
I can't answer how it works if you download from the devs themselves (but from what I've heard, they use a service for that, which means that you will get a permanent link that you can use to download your game from), but you don't actually need to be online all the time to use Steam, it has an offline mode. GOG will provide you with an installer that you can burn to a DVD or do whatever with (and you can redownload it as many times as you want), and which requires no client or similar, it will just be used to install the game with.
And in order to pay with a credit card, you will just input your credit card number, and usually also your name and email, and money will be transferred from the account that is linked to your credit card.

1) There is no download available at the moment, but "googies pack" can be download multiple times. Also I think these guys will gladly help you if you have any problem with the download. At first, I did not receive email with steam key (it took some timeto reach my mail) and their staff responded fast and re-sent the email with code.M.M wrote:Is downloading reasumeable? 2) When you use steam you have download available from any computer as long as you have your steam account. The best of it is that if you buy from this site, then you got option 1+2 for one price and even get discount - I preordered instantly.
3) I made my payment via pay-pal ... I have no account there, just chosen "pay pal" and entered email + creditcard number + some more data about me + verification code, easy.
Re: How to buy it
it should be impossible to lose the the game, if you buy from the devs. From the way I read it if you buy from them it more directly supports their company, I am assuming they have to pay steam something to host it and get the name out there so steam takes a cut of the transaction. But if you order from the devs you still get a steam key, and you can dl the game again and again so if your hard drive crashes, you delete it or the game is only half downloaded you can go back and dl it again with no new charge. Plus if you enter your key into steam it will remember and you can dl it from them any time you log in.
so as long as you save your link email, keep your steam key, do not forget your steam password and the email password you used to log into steam after you enter the key, do not lose the disk nor the file on your computer you will always have a way to get the game back.

Re: How to buy it
Thanks for help. No need to fear for the new it seems.
I have just preordered it directy.
New questions
is it worth writing donw the steam key or is it generated anew every time a click the link from mail?
One way or another i have now to wait for 11th April. Assuming i want a standalone copy from devs, what to do next? ( i think i can handle steam).
Thanks anyway

The link you received in your email that has the steam key is permanent. When you click to receive the keys it assigns it to your unique url. You can activate your steam key right now by downloading steam at http://store.steampowered.com/ Select your language in top right corner. After you download the client, create your account, and log into the client, simply
Then when the game releases on April 11th, you can either download with Steam, or you can get the standalone installer in the email you received that had url to the Steam Key. I believe they will add the download link to your url at the release. Btw, you can download your pre-order goodies at the same url. It's above the Steam Key.
