Will there be any console versions of this game? I think it would be great if you could make a ps vita version,i'm sure it would be pretty popular because there aren't any games like this on the vita yet , ant this is the kind of game i'm sure a lot of people would like.

Personally I would love to see a console port well Xbox 360 perfered. I'm a console player mostly.
Some say the magic and control system wouldn't work but I think it most certainly could. Plus I would be able to enjoy it on my big flat screen with the way the graf is supposed to be vs the way I'm playing now with all settings turned down.
I've only played 2 PC games in like the past 3 yrs this one included, but I could not pass this game up it's awesome!

It could work the only thing that would probly be to hard is going into a players actual inventory and switching things out mid battle.

You need keyboard and mouse imo. Touchscreen might be passable, depending on the sensitivity etc.

Yeah,i think it would be great on the ps vita because of the dual analog sticks and touchscreen.

I'm a console gamer myself, but went back to my PC roots for this game. I can't see how it could work on a console, there would be no easy way to select which attack to make between the two hands of all 4 members, accessing the inventory and pressing buttons in the environment without the use of a mouse cursor. Moving a cursor with a thumbstick could work, but slow. Moving through the dungeon using the D-pad wouldn't work either, unless you want to rely on diagonals for turning, which wouldn't be precice enough for me.
I personally hate phone/pad games that have an on-screen thumbstick, but I think it would work really well with Grimrock (given the option is there for everyone anyway). I'd love to be able to fire up the game on a tablet (phone would be too precice for inventory management), possibly Android to give it a bit more freedom to allow user-created content...

DM had a SNES port, not very fun with a control pad. Anyone try the DM game on the saturn?

Neither of these, but I did see EoB on Gameboy Advance. It played more like the classic PC SSI D&D titles where combat went into an isometric turn-based mode. See
here.
