Just wanted to start a thread because I couldn't find others to state that I'm in if there's a Linux version. Post here if you run Linux and want it for the platform. Heck, I'd even pay more if needed to have a port for it.

I'll pre-order it in any way, but developers, please, help us to run it in wine!

Currently there are an error appearing, concerned with Audio2Create() function which terminates program's execution. I'll be happy if game will run even without sound at all

Tried with latest wine, with and without xact installed.

Do you mean the compatibility test? There are reports from people who have successfully run the tech test under Wine.

Yes, i mean compatibility test (as far as i know there are no other binaries available for free download?) . You inspired me for future experiments .. Till now i've met only one report about fail with wine, in blog comments to compatibility test announce post.

There was a bug in Wine which prevented running the compatibility test but it's supposedly fixed now. I'm not sure if they have pushed the fix to the main distribution yet.

May I ask where the compatibility test can be downloaded? I'm not sure if I scoured around enough but I couldn't seem to find it on the site.

Just wanted to mention that I support the original sentiment.

I will buy but only binary version 4 Linux.

I'm not knocking Linux at all, but my guess is that if they think it is worth it from a business standpoint they would make a Linux version. With their small staff they probably get a much better return on their investment making more Windows games. Unless it is very easy to port over.
