Mage entrance bugged?

Hi!

I tried to throw every kind of stuff in the pressure plate... but nothing happens...
I know that the head in the wall in the other side of the gap should shot a fireball that i must intercept with mine, but it doesn't.
Anyone have a clue of what could be happening?

Throwing something on the pressure plate causes one fireball to be shot. Throwing more stuff will not do anything since the pressure plate is already down. You don't need to intercept the fireball, just shoot a fireball of your own at the head.

in case you do not have a mage character or mage that have fire spell, there is a fire sword nearby in that very same area/room, that spits fire ball
