Man I am so FULL I cannot walk [SUGGESTION]

So,
it seems that I'm not the only one who's permanently overloaded.
There are some items I just don't want to throw away because
a) it's weapons I might use later because I'm not sure which skill tree I'm gonna put points in
b) it's food that weighs a ton but I don't want to chew it now
c) it's scrolls with hints I might need later
d) it's stuff I'm not sure what it's good for
e) it's stuff I don't use but it's so cool I don't want to waste it
f) it's armor I can't use yet and I don't know if I'm going to wear it later
g) it's blueberry pie
h) let's face it, those bombs are like lead
Sure, I could dump the stuff somewhere, but I don't really want to run all the way back and rummage through the heaps of stuff I left ^^
So I have two suggestions to get rid of this problem:
1) Magic containers
Magic containers can be everything from sacks to boxes, backpacks, purses or even small chests. The special thing about magic containers is their weight reduction capability.
Let's say a magic sack with 6 slots has 30% weight reduction. So I can put a full set of heavy armor + shield in it (about 40kg), and the stuff actually weighs only 28kg.
2) The omnipresent stash
Just put a few stashes with enough slots at certain spots in the dungeon. These stashes are magically linked, meaning the player can put stuff into the stash in level 2 and get the stuff back from the stash in level 7. Would save a lot of time and omg-I-shoudn't-have-dumped-that-****ing-axe-moments
Think about it
