That is interesting I was going to say I didn't recall any spider bosses!

Not only do I want to thank Germanny for the list, but I'd also like to show my gratitude for his work on DM Java. Loved using your different wallset graphics bro. DM Java was, up until LoG, my favorite DM Clone :)

Thanks for this, was very useful since I gathered up every rock I could find but then thought to myself "who needs rocks? I got plenty of stuff I can use to weigh down plates and throw at things" And left them all somewhere. Boy was I wrong.

Also useful information. Taken from another thread and changed for clarification.

To enable the console all you have to do is to change the following lines to the config file at Documents/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock/grimrock.cfg:

For windows users. Double click grimrock.cfg . It will likely say windows cannot open the file because I doesn't know what it is. Choose "Select a program from a list of installed programs". Choose notepad. Find the two lines that say console and consolekey and change them to....

console = true
consoleKey = 192

192 uses tilde (` or ~) as console key. Save the file and start up LoG. If done correctly, when you are in game (when you have loaded and game and can control your party) pressing the ` or ~ key(its the same key) will bring up the console (press the same button again to close the console). To create an item, have the console open. Then for example, if you want to spawn one of those pesky rocks type the following...

spawn("rock")

Then press enter. A rock should have spawned at your feet. Replace "rock" with whatever you desire. If you want multiples of items, you'll have to type it again. Hope this helps anyone else who got stuck.

@isamu:
Sorry, did not see your post^^ Many thanks!
Dmjava.. it was a cool clone with a great editor, and the first who was able to use better graphics.. Was a load of work with the wallsets, too ;)
From nowaday´s view there is much that could be done far better. Well, my skills raised, so the point of view changed.

I'm trying to use the console commands, but nothing spawns from the command. :/

I turned on debug information and it gave me this when i tried to spawn a Tome of Wisdom...

[string "user input"]:1: bad argument #1 to 'spawn' (string expected, got nil)

Any way I can get it to work? I want to try different builds and work out how I want to play through the game on hard and some other custom dungeons.

If you want to spawn items you need to know their internal names, not those displayed inside the game. For included items like the Tome of Wisdom it's simple: open the dungeon editor, select the item list, find the tome there and use this internal name for the spawn("<item_name>") command.

On the other hand: the best way to play thru to game on any difficulty is just doing it. Unless you spread your 4 points per level-up between too many skills any build works.
