Grimrock

I just finished the game; it was pretty awesome. The cube was annoying, but I guess I appreciate the challenge. Anyways, are the treasures useful at all? I think I found 4 of them. Is the point just that if you find all of them you get the bragging rights?

I guess you won't be able to use the old characters in any future expansions, since it seems to they sort of died in the explosion, right? And there was no end of game save. That's a bit disappointing.

Good questions, no one really knows! Did the party survive or not? We'll see! If they did maybe you can sell those treasures in the sequel?

If i remember the end game cutscene correctly, they fled grimrock before it collapsing, so there's a SLIGHT chance you could get to continue with them.

Lots of possibilities there! Prestige, sell to buy further equipment, part of a larger plot, etc.

Maybe it exploded really slowly, they were miles away before it actually blew up.

Actually there was a pretty blue beam of light shooting up from the mountain...

And the treasures themselves seem to suggest what that means. Unless I am reading too deep into this.
But still, a map of another world?

look, since mt. grimrock is in some forsaken desolate part of the world, noone except them could of seen it and then paint it as best they could from memory
