Anyone know how to set them up?

The custom portraits follow the dimensions 128x128 and are .tga files.

You drop them in:
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock\Portraits
From there you just start a new game and import them in.

This is the first step towards the dungeon editor.

Hope they allow us to put in a sort of opening movie comprised of still-frame pictures.

@raf68, check your path, it should be:

C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\My Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock\Portraits

Are you sure have downloaded the patch? If you're using Steam, it may not have updated yet.

It could be how you've converted them, I first tried using an online converter, for whatever reason this failed. (Perhaps the online converter changed the dimensions?) I then changed the files using Photoshop which worked great. :)
