Rat: Can i reload a save to get different Mutation?

Hi guys,

With Rattling can I simply reload the game before I level up in order to get a different mutation on him?

If that´s true then I can always get the stat I want thru Mutations, right?

No. The Mutation stats you'll get are seeded at the beginning of the game. Same for stats from preferred food.
