Does having less party members mean they get more XP?

Quick question:
Does having less party members mean they get more XP?

"No" is mostly accurate. If you had just one party member, he or she would get "all" the xp. If you have four party members they can each get "all" the xp so long as they each get at least one hit in. But in the normal course of play it's likely that some will get more than others. So in general, a solo playthrough will end up with that character getting a little more than the average party member gets, such as maybe 10% more, depending on how you would play with a full party.

The "get one hit in" thing is a LoG 1 requirement. LoG 2 does not have it anymore. Due to this LoG 2 characters gain XP way more equal than their LoG 1 counterparts; of course disregarding certain XP increasing traits / gear and - naturally - Death.
