When you put in the fourth scroll on level 4 and get jumped by all the mobs.

Whole level before that. Level filled with puzzles. Mobs were just suprise.

- Figuring out the 4 item clues by myself on lvl 8
- First walking into lvl 12 (or pretty much every first encounter with a new monster...)
- Finding well-hidden secrets!

Well...
When I was looking at the boss man cube not knowing it was about to roll out of its home. Up until that point I had figured the thing in the middle was the prison and it was going to open up and the boss would come out. So I was totally shocked when it rolled forward killing me in one hit.

because you might be shocked to find the first hidden room is fairly early in the game.

High-point: Starting out the game, and loving every second of it.
Low-point: Discovering how incredibly poor the class balance is in the game.*
*If it wasn't for lack of equipment, four rogues would be the best group set-up. Dex-Evasion in front, Assassin and Throwing at the back.
The only viable Mage spec is loads of spellcraft and low/mid in a single spell line, that way he won't run out of energy after five spells. His damage will still be exceeded by far by a Minotaur Throwing Rogue.
