Hi Folks,

I'm known as the Necro on the old Youtubes (http://www.youtube.com/necroscope86). I do video walkthroughs with commentary basically, and have built up a solid and caring community of watchers around that.

I'm a 25 year old father, gamer, and nerd with a semi-awesome British accent (I can't do other peoples accents so people tell me...I thought my Canadian was pretty good!)
First and foremost, to the people who made this amazing game /salute. I tip my hat to you sirs, I had been waiting for this game for months and you have not failed to dissapoint. An absolute fantastic game.

I started a LP(Let's Play) with the support of people who watch my stuff (The game was actually gifted to me via Steam! Thanks to Diana for that one) and just thought id make a post here.
Somebody gave me the idea to join these forums and interact with the community based around the official forums, as I have been doing on Youtube. No trumpet blowing here, but as I've got a good number of subscribers, theyve been sending me tips for certain levels. Especially big shoutout to Tim if your reading, your little insights into the levels have been very useful indeed.
If your interested in coming along for the ride, then go check it out. I'm not saying I'll get every secret, but I'm a dungeon crawler Veteran (Amiga 1200 fanboi <3), so I can hold my own having got I think nearly all of them so far, with some tips .

To Almost Human:
You have made a game that brings me back to a time of innocence in my childhood, a time when afternoons could be spent fighting Frost Giants in the Bowels of Darkmoon temple, and the dreaded Mind Flayers of the lower Catacombs under Waterdeep. (Incidentally, I've got 2 HD Let's Plays of EOTB1/2 uploaded as-well, which come up top I think in the search lists on Youtube, Fantastic games). I refuse to rush this game, as you really need to sitback and take it all in. I search everywall almost for a secret button, I fall down every pit, and I am loving it (I've just reached Level 10, and later today I'll be heading back in).

I myself am a 38 year old father and an avid gamer ( been gaming for 25+ years now) . I've been watching Necro's vids for quite a while now (around 3 years I think, possibly more) and it was his LP that, in part, helped me decide to get this game. I am so glad I did because its an extremely well executed dungeon crawler for the modern age. The 'next-gen' market has been missing a game in this style for soooooooo long. The atmosphere created by the game is superb, thanks to both the amazing graphics and the awesome sound.

Really enjoying Necro's Lets Play and loving the game. Im actually finding it great fun to play the game and then go watch Necro's Lp up to the point at where I am (or where im stuck ).

Thank You Necro for a great Lp of the game (really loving that you are doing a blind LP) and a HUGE Thank You to Almost Human for developing such a brilliant game.

thanks for the lp's ive watched almost all of them and im very much enjoying your Grimrock lp.
and i just wanna ask if u can just check a game ( you might like it) it's called Hexen its a really fun game.

Hey Necroscope, I love your work on all the games you've Let's Played and I believe I've watched every one. Half the fun of your playthroughs is watching you get stuck on the simplest things but finding the immediate answer to the most mind-breaking stuff. I love it.

Just a small tip for the last floor: I hope you saved Lightning Bombs, you're going to need them. Also, abuse the Save Crystal on floor 10. Also Liches/Mind Flayers.

I'm trying very hard not to watch all of your videos at once, because I am working on a LP myself and I don't want to spoil the game for myself.
