LoG2 + CV1

So I got my oculus rift cv1 a little while back and just installed vorpx 16.2 recently which says it supports log2 and ran log2 with vorpx active. I got to the main menu fine, and could navigate all the menus there, but whenever I press start I get an out of memory error from the log2 client.
Any ideas?
p.s. I have 16gb ddr4 ram

Check and follow the vorpX FAQ's. If this does not help ask the vorpX guys on their forum.
According to their website 16.2.0 has some beta stuff in it so perhaps trying a previous release like 16.1.2 helps.

A true VR experience would be so nice.
I really hope, that Almost Human will do something official because the best native offering so far is this:

I do not want to bash Crystal Rift(the next game might be far better), but man...both Legend of Grimrock games are miles and ages better.
Everytime i start LoG i think to myself...oh boy this situation in VR...please AH make it happen!

Yep, i've played Crystal Rift, Krypt Crawler, and even Grimrock 1 and 2 through steam theatre mode (and bigscreen, virtual desktop etc) but would MUCH prefer native support for Grimrock.

Well, since
LOG3 isn't even being worked on, you can probably bet they won't retroactively make this happen.
