Just dropping a quick question here. It seems I should be able to play on highest settings with the desktop I currently have, but I'm struggling. There's a lot of variables, and I have fiddled with what I have been able to.
Dell Optiplex GX620
Pentium 4 Dual core, 3.2GHZ
RadeonHD 5450 1GB RAM
Ubuntu 11.10
2.5GB RAM
With Grimrock loaded up, both cores rail to 100%. Is this normal? The only thing I can think of is maybe things aren't getting offloaded to the GPU for some reason? I've been playing with vsync and other options via compiz-config but nothing seems to make a difference. I suppose I should just play it with lower settings, but just looking for anybody else with some input. Maybe I'm missing something.
