Grimrock

Ok, so I had apparently passed up the Lurker pants after leaving level 6.

So I'm now in the maze underneath the "Mage's Entrance" to the halls of fire. I've explored every nook that I can, but cannot seem to find the lurker's pants.

This is driving me insane. http://www.gamebanshee.com/legendofgrim ... level6.php States it should be there, the maps for level 6/7 show me an extra square all the way west of the subbasement that I can't seem to open in the alcove.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You need to find the proper hole to fall down. The holes do line up on the grid as to where they place you. Figure out which hole will land you behind that door.
