Level 11 access (end game spoilers)

I've finished the game so I know about the Tomb of Designers and that doesn't provide access to this area.
When you drop down to level 11 from the level 10 catacombs you are able to see a door and hallway through some bars. I've scoured that area for a button, along with checking every pit I've found on level 10.
I've saved with 3 of the 4 final items placed so I can go back and find some things.
65/71 secrets, 5/7 treasures and 5 skulls found, I have a feeling that some of that is in the area that I just can't get into. Any ideas about how to get down there? I've put out every torch I can get to and have been running around levels 7-10 without a light but can't seem to find anything more.

You've not checked every pit you've found, else you woulda got in there

I have all 11 holes I've found marked and labeled on my map both on level 10 and 11 (made an additional comment since checking each again). Now if there is a hole hidden somewhere else on level 10, then I didn't try it.

Lol, I had that one marked one off of where it should have been, and skipped over it when falling back down all the pits. Thanks!
