The forgotten joys of Map-Making!

As I sat there, carefully rubbing out my nth map mistake and re-drawing it, I realised I haven't had this much fun in a game for years. Memories came back of opening up the Dungeon Master Box, inserting the floppy disk (Yes, floppy disk for those disbelieving youngsters out there) and getting doubly excited when the 'WHOOSH' of the FTL logo coming up on the screen.
I'll always remember the clanking sound of the dungeon doors opening and my first tentative steps into the dungeon crawler world, clicking on the portraits, choosing my party...and then almost jumping into the ceiling when the first Mummy attacked me!
Thanks Almost Human, for not only a great game, but for allowing me to relive something that I thought was gone forever...the ability to immerse myself in a game that doesn't automatically win for you.
A big cheer for the AH Team,
CHEER!
