What Stats for range?

is it better to go for Dexterity or Strength for a range Rouge?

the developers mentioned that ranged weapons (Crossbows, Bows, Throwing Knife, Shuriken, Rocks, Throwing Axes, etc..) automatically hit (provided that the target and the projectile meet on the same tile)... I think this has to be with the limited amount of ammunition. but anyways. since ranged weapons are auto-hit. most people go with Strength, as it gives bonuses for BOTH melee and ranged damage.

The good thing about this is it allows you to min/max; which means maximize everything you can to boost your strength or attack power and minimize things such as evasion or dex, since your range guy will be in the back nearly the whole game. This is especially true when you do a second run through and little will surprise you, as far as ambushes and such.

Im running 3 rogue/1 mage at the moment with max dex str at the front and a minotaur throwing freak max str at the back. Works out really well though. Got to see if i survive level 5 :?
