Level 9 treasury key

At the end of lvl 9 there's a treasury with 3 different door to pick from. I've looked everywhere for the key but I can't find it. Anyone know where it is?

I do not know where to get the key. However... I have a vague memory of exiting the "hunted" area and killing one last dinosaur on the way out. It dropped... a gold key. I am NOT advocating that you go back and kill dinos looking for the key, I just reloaded a save game at around that time and killed four of them with no key. But I did get the key before going into the room with the ornate key lock, and before doing the pillars puzzle. Maybe its on the floor near the end of the hunted area? Hopefully someone else can tell you with certainty how to get it.

Thanks for reply, at least this way i know that I missed it. I can go back a bit and see if i left it on the ground somewhere.

I was stuck on this one too. The damn thing was hiding under a piece of raptor steak! Saw the glow from a distance.

I've been wandering through level 9 now, wondering for a bit what this gold-key was supposed to be used for. I finally found the treasury-room near the end. Now I'm stuck with one question: What's behind each of the 3 gates?
I notice a pair of metal-leggins. Are these plate? Because I need them for the achievement.
And then I notice an armband and a green hat behind one of the other gates. What are the stats on these?

You can pick from 1 of:
- +5 skill book
- Plate Greaves
- Flarefeather Cap and Serpent Bracer (can't remember stats except I think +50 poison resist on the bracer)

One last question:
Is this the only place you can get the plate greaves? If not, then I'll go with the bracer and hat. But I'm really on an achievement-hunt here

There's a full set of plate available from...somewhere else that's similar
