Level 4 stuck at end

Hi,
I'm stuck at the end of Level 4.
I was in every Portal and got the Key and with the key i got the Chitin Greaves
But how can I now open the Gate at the End of the Room with the Portals?

after each portal challenge there's a scroll... dont forget to bring all four with you...

Runes are the start ... scrolls are the end!

Well I've got all the 4 scrolls and trying to match the runes by putting them into the wall holes...
I think I might have the right scrolls set but nothing happens then.. I though the door to stairs would open, but nothing happens. Am I missing something or did I just do it wrong with the scrolls ?
