toward the end of level 9 there is a scripture with an offering to open a door reading "Made from the dead, guillotined man does not need me" ive tryed everything and still can't get through any help?

For a hint:
Split the question into two, what can be used from the dead to make something with, followed by - if a guillotined man was still alive, what wouldn't he need
And if you are lazy and / or still don't get it, here's the answer:
Bone Amulet - There was 2 I found so far - totally useless neck slot item = must have a use!
