So, Just hit level 10 and got into the Inner sanctum, and I think I crapped myself.
First of all those damn Cthulu wizards appear and make my heart explode, so in my panic I run to the side room, pull the chain, open the door, go inside and close it behind me.
I'm then sitting in front of my monitor laughing and flipping it the bird as it approaches the door. "Can't get me, asshole!" I shout triumphantly.
And then it opens the door.
I don't think I have ever screamed in such a girly fashion before.

Hahaha, did exactly the same when one opened a door. At least it had the good grace to immediately move aside to let me out though, guess that one enjoyed a chase!

are amongst the most intimidating foes in any universe, be it D&D, Demon's Souls - or Grimrock.

How do you kill them? They seem to be immune to any kind of damage, be it elemental of plain steel... I remember they used to be quite vulnerable to + weapons back at D&D times, but these guys...

Just hit them until the shield goes out. Yes it shows 0 damage, but keep hitting.
Not sure but if you manage to freeze them it felt like the shield evaporated much easier.

I accidentally fell into a trap when charging one of those wizards after managing to freeze him from a distance.
