Grimrock

Actually more of a level 9 "pit secret".

After defeating the foes in the outer sanctum room and proceeding through the portals in the correct order, you're warped to a small room where you stand on a pressure plate, with 2 pits in front of you and two gargoyles head on your sides ( they spit a poison cloud if you go near them ).
Falling into the first pit leads you to a room which seems to contain an enigma to solve :

"stand where the shadows of the
torches cross, and toss a rock
with all your might to the East
and to the North"

There are 3 places you can put a torch on, but I don't get it. Well I can't seem to find where I'm supposed to stand. Best place I found is along the north wall, which seem to contradict the "toss a rock to the north" part. Also, I guess I should toss the rock with a character attack, not by dragging it on the screen...

Any idea?

Only two torches are actually needed for this riddle. Light up all 3 and look where two shadows cross. That's your spot Also notice, that the riddle says "throw as hard as you can"

you can do it with rocks, just equip em like weapns
