Diarmuid, i feel that you are the piece we are missing, weve amassed talent, experience, and knowledge, but we really do need that true scripting ninja to help build safeguards or see problems before they manifest. Even if you just helped on specific issues i feel far more comfortable knowing that you are willing to help in a jam. Thank you.

Hey guys, just a reminder to everyone wanting to join up, just send a pm to me with your skype name so I can add you to the live discussion.
From there we will work on getting you integrated to our github.
Again, I'd like to see a large part of the community get involved on this, even if you have very little time. We desire your thoughts on how the project should be carried out.

I've been lua scripting for years in pure lua and in IDEs and games including AutoPlay Media Studio, Supreme Commander/Forged Alliance and LOVE. If I can be useful, PM me and I'll be happy to contribute.
You can see my first LoG script here.

Thats the thing, between working and then using my spare time to create my own project for LoG there is not much time left. That being said I have been eying this thread from the begining, and I would like to lend a hand.
My strenght is on the graphical/visual side of things, so don't expect any brilliant ideas coming from me when it comes to scripting, if someone has something specific and thought out in the texture/modeling department I can be pretty fast on the delivery.
I have been an amateur grafic guy for many years, I think my first mod was replacing the sprites in a game called kickoff on the Atari ST (yeah I'm that old), the players where zombies and the ball got changed to a cat
I sometimes get bored of my own project, and that opens up time for something else, and I like to take a step back and just do something else for a while, modding for me is just an outlet, I look at it as my stress free creative time
and thats one of the reasons I'm hesitant to commit on a project of this size.
But seeing how the CFD and the ORRR projects are just slowly progressing and seem to be coming along in a chilled manner, and this community seems to respects that we are all here just for fun, I think this will be ok.
I think I have a skype account somewhere, need to dig it up and pm it to Neikun.
Skuggasveinn.

Thank you very much Skuggs.
My greatest hope that this project never becomes "work" Never something with demands or consequences.
That said I think we can do a really good job.
As for expectations, we only expect what you have to offer.
I've always admired your work and will be proud to say I've worked on this with you.
Final note, Feel free to use this group as a sort of reaction base to any works in progresses you might be unsure of, would like suggestions on.

Thanks, msyblade
!
I put a proof of concept up on github for the npc/player interaction. Obviously a lot to do still but I'm confident I can do this just fine without getting access to the brain or AIState. To test, just place an "npc_boatman" in your dungeon and try to attack him and see what happens! I think I can make the npcs interact with the party and the other npcs as well. The models and animations are up to the modeler and animator but even if we don't get them right away I can work with basic monsters.

Wow, thanks Neikun and msyblade... it's warm to see such appreciation. As of coding, I think we have a much more professional coder than me in Centauri Soldier on the team, but I promise I'll try to keep up!

I want to thank the LoG community and AH for supporting this concept. I also would like to express special thanks to those who are contributing (12 contributors so far…). I’m blown away by the comradery and creativity expressed in the skype chats and in the work that has been submitted to github for this project. Neikun has played an integral role for this project, organizing the effort—while making sure we are aligned with AH’s lore. Those of you who would like to be a part of this huge effort—to have your mods showcased in the massive enigmatic world of
The Northern Realms—please feel free to PM Neikun to join the journey.

Almost Human must be tearing at their hair and going "That's not like it at all!" right now (or an impressed "That's pretty close, yeah"). But I reckon they also might be impressed that we took such a liking to their world. : D
As for the general look, I like it. Plus the temple gives a good idea what dungeons of the area might look like. (sort of reminding me of the real-world Angkor Wat, without looking too much the same)
