You're right. Yet it's enough when it's almost simultaneously.

Good job with that dungeon...Right now I'm stuck at 4x4. I like it if I have to try hard when stuck at a certain puzzle, but I don't like trial and error with items and alcoves. Help greatly appreciated...

If you already know how to hurt the boss the only help I can give is to be as fast as possible. Draw the ballista directly after you fired it before you do anything else. Don't try to kill the Shrakk Torr unless you have to, they spawn infinitely until the boss is dead and they also respawn quickly. Throw away any potions you have used (the empty potion bottles) to safe time. You need to hit the boss 3x with the ballista to kill him.

It's not that hard as it doesn't need to be 100% exact. Stand between the middle and one of the outer plates, facing the middle plate. Step on the middle plate, step back, throw an item on the outer plate at the other side, step back on the outer plate behind you, step forward. If timed correctly the gate will open.
Thank you for featuring my mod on your site!

It's not trial and error. Which version do you play? I added another hint in v1.2. Anyway, the solution is:
You need to put items with a total weight of 4 in each of the 4 alcoves. The pillars in the middle room will help you see whether you did right, there is one for each alcove and they will go down when the correct weight is inside an alcove.
Btw, there is a guy playing through the mod on Youtube ('Let's play' type video). Can be found here:

No idea whether it's interesting for other people, but I think he's quite funny and for me personally it is a lot of fun watching him for obvious reasons. He also has a Let's Play of the original game and 'Tomb of Zarthos' (but he got stuck there, I think more or less at the same point as I did).

Imagine my surprise when I get stuck on something, and I come here to look for answers and I see this.
Seriously though, this dungeon is awesome, no joke. (The bugs are raping me

Hey, nice to see you here. Really enjoy your videos, thanks for making them! It's funny to see how different your playthrough is from what I thought it would be. For example most people had problems with the 'from midnight to noon' puzzle, but you almost immediately knew what to do. On the other hand I didn't get many questions about the 'throw items on pressure plates' puzzle on level 2, where you spent quite a lot of time figuring it out.
I figured the bugs may be pretty hard to defeat for your party since you missed almost every secret area there is (but mainly because you didn't notice how the small secret buttons look, which is understandable if you talk and play at the same time) and put a lot of points into what I consider 'secondary skills', like athletics, armor, spellcraft etc (and thus can't use any of the better weapons). But the part with the bugs is pretty easy to solve if you destroy their hives. There are 5 hives and 5 bugs in the area and each hive spawns a new bug when you kill one of the existing bugs (after a few seconds and up to a certain limit only though). If you destroy a hive, one bug less will spawn however. So if you manage to destroy 2-3 hives it should be pretty easy to get rid of the rest.
Hope P****head will heroically defeat the villain in the end!

I found the hive area had some of the game's easiest fights since there's almost always room to dance around the enemies in there. Disease is also a status effect you can work with.
