mmmmh ai..... now that would be sweet because you can call grimrock monsters what you will but inteligent ...nay. it would indeed be cool if the creatures in grimrock would react a bit more sentient, sounds good very much looking forward to this (dude you and xanatar are elevating creatures in log to next level). 8-)

just aquired your axe skeleton and it works fine, no errors whatsoever. this one will probably make the eob boys happy i wager ;)

Oh yes! I've integrated it into EOB mod. Looks, moves and breaks my skull beautifully.

Fantastic work. It means that we have 3 monsters already done (spiders, leech and axe wielding skeletons). Great!

Thanks for doing this, Neikun. It is better than the original Leki (in the sense "more similar to EOB's original, not that Leki's work was worse in any way). I like the skin - it is a bit darkish, but it's close enough. EOB's beholder had different proportions - its main "body" had a diameter that was 5 or 6 times the length of its eye tentacles. EOB's beholder had different coloured eyes - mix of green, blue and read eyes (the central, big one was blue), had little blood stains/veins in its eyes, had its mouth open and green saliva over it. It didn't have anything dangling out of his ass. :)

I'm not sure which of those things can be done easily (and if you have time and willingness to work on them). In any case, once you decide that you're done with them, I'm interested in getting the sources.

It needs a more talented modeler than I, that's for sure.
What I did to get my result was move the jaw up and into the beast. Removing tentacles from his ass left a big hole, that when patched by my handiwork, didn't look right at all.
As for the green.. I don't know exactly how I would accomplish that.

haha its funny, I yestrday added Xanthar in my dungeon, so hope this model will be available as it is more suitable then Leki´s beholder (which I will use anyway for different purposes)

i can help with texture (upgrading) i own crazybump wich is cool to make various texture layers complete with normal , spec , dif, occlusion and paralax maps (wich makes for a very detailed look) if ya need any work like that done just let me know (this can be done literally in a few minutes with crazybump) ;)

Ghoul release moved to 10th April. He is almost ready and I work on sounds.
In the rest of this week I will finish Human Bowman. If any of you can create new highres texture for this model, I can share it. Otherwise I can do it, but again, It will take some time which I can spend on Human Guard :roll:

for al texture upgrading on technical level (new custom normals and such) just send me the textures ( or let me know where to get em) and i'll overhaul em ;) .
