I forgot to read completely the walkthrough!
finaly I figured out of the teleport rooms, well I have read the other post you tell to Leewroy about this room.
I get the ore and, saw the second button for the 2nd secret. I don't know why, I did not see it in the first times!
While trying this room, I was going to the other room "gems and rocks will not help you here...little insects". I jump in a pit and the game crashed while I use a magic missile against a spider.
I suppose this is a "temporary bug" because I did not have another bug while using magic missile
Just curious, all spiders in the pit are looking in the same direction, that they can't see the party after you jump in the pits. I suppose this is intended to avoid that all spiders come to the party in the same time?
Well this rooms seems to be a total mystery. I have put item in alcoves, activate all the plates by launching items, and even activating no visible plate (because darkness) south in the room, I hear sounds like pit are closing. I even try to launch magic missile spell against receptor, I have close lot of pits but… stuck in this room now, can't go further after the middle of the room. I had already kill the 2 tentacles.
But that is not necessary now as I can get the other ore part in the chest. Yes, I can do that (and I didn't cheat)!
If you get fast enough, you can jump in a pit (in front of the chest) then click on the chest to pick it up before falling in the pit, and that's it! You have the chest. Maybe you should put it in a different way? I discover that trick in my mod while testing some.
It's about the same way you have to put item in two alcoves while jumping in the pits, but this can be disastrous for the complete puzzle of this room.
By the way I have placed ore in the receptor, and open the other durin door. It has removed the pillars in the other room with the slimes, yeah!. But what are the use of the lever? Are they used for the room with the pits? (Howw! had to try that
)

Yeah I suppose now you can't avoid this problem, If you don't have place to move the stairs. I ve noticed some other clipping issue on the level with the fireball and the ogre (lvl3 I guess). It's about dirt on floor and the wall dirt which are mixing themselves. I did not remember the place had to find them again.
the clipping are marked by N. Don't know if you can avoid them as you use dirt props on each floors.

After entering the room with grass. I can't shoot with my archer when I am placed between the wall and the grass floor, in front of the "N" of the maps.
Very funny! My warrior can shoot throwing daggers without any problems, but when the ranger shoots, the arrows hit some invisible wall and don't go further.

On this one it's when you are facing east.
Arrows can't pass!
