Hi
I'm a little bit stuck in the first area, i got a gear and skeleton key but only door which remains closed is a gold one. What are we supposed to do in the aqarius, i have collected the book upstairs, killed the two mimics, and collected the items but what's next ?
This is my map, maybe some places i didn't explore ?

the gear key is for later in the game
one skelkey is for mortar, the other for the library afair
and you must kill the level boss for another key

Hey
I have a lot of fun in the first dungeon... Just does not know how to open library gate and also another gate that I have no clue how to do it.
I got the golden key and killed all foes including the water guys by dropping on them
Any tips?

Hey,
you will find the Skull Key in the Aquarium area. It is on the floor to your right after you enter the water. It should be about two squares away. Once you have the key, head back to the library area and use the key. This opens a secret door which has a pathway leading to another locked room. Enter this room and climb the ladder, push the secret button and the library door will open.
If the other gate you're referring to is the gate that blocks the exit then,
you must return to the start of the dungeon and put something on that first pressure plate. Then you are able to head to the exit, use the key and reach the Main Beach

I am hopelessly stuck in this mod, and could use some hints with the following problems:
In the Catacombs I need the key to get to the Scorched Valley, need to find a way to get across the water in the "Guard Post" area and can't open the door directly opposite the Guard Post.
In the Greater Grimvere Forest map I can't get into the turtle area, and there's a lock in the room with the healing crystal that is missing a key. (Cube Key I'm guessing.) Also, there's a section in the south that I can't seem to reach as I'm being blocked by grass (of all things).
In the Excavation Site there's a section in the far southeast that I can't reach.
In East Zhousa there's a closed gate by some sliding block floortiles that I can't open. Also, I haven't found the "pool" that's mentioned in South Zhousa.
In the Elemental Plains I've managed to place 2 Earth Essences, 1 Air, 1 Water and 1 Balance.
I have a Tomb Key and an Iron Key that I don't know where to use.
I've also found a couple more typos ("Form" should be "from" in a readable near the Excavation Site entrance, and some other readable had a "bare with me" when it should be "bear with me") but since this is the final release I doubt they'll be fixed.
Any hints?
EDIT: Found a bug by accident. In the Grimwere Forest map, in the sliding block puzzle, you can walk through all the walls that seperate the block puzzle from the 6-square pool that's east of it.

Yes it helps, I would never hv found the key. Im now missing the SE area locked by a grate I hv no idea how to open.
The one I was mentionning. I already exit the area and explore above but Im sure I missed something there...

numberouane: Keep in mind that there are a lot of secret buttons in the first dungeon, and that one lock (in the SE section) needs lockpicks to be opened.
There's also a section in the NW that's supposed to be completed later, so you'll have to come back to the dungeon anyway.

Yes I know I might have missed something as I opened every single chest and door except those 2 (NW, SE) doors.
I have many lockpicks but dont know where to use them now

Hello, 'Unkillable Cat'
1. You need the Mine Key to enter 'Olde Scorched Valley'. It is on the small island in the south-west of the Main Beach.
2. Eternal Catacombs - Kill the Medusa to spawn the bridge.
3. Eternal Catacombs - Go to the south-east to the room where the skeleton archer was. Kill it and press the buttons on the left and right side. They open new areas.
4. Greater Grimwern Woodlands - Go through the 'Living Forest' and get the Ornate Key, then use it on the lock in the Healing Crystal area.
5. ..."blocked by grass". I'm not sure what you're referring to.
6. Excavation SIte - Solve to two northern puzzles then return to the site entrance. Take the long way around and the mine door spear will be open. There you can reach the southern part.
7. Eastern Zhaoze - The blue floor tiles are a simple puzzle.
* The typos irritate me. I hate errors but, It's hard to find them all.
* The ability to walk through the wall in Grimwern Woodlands is indeed an error.
Explore more. Stop worrying about the particulars and look around. "Open-world exploration. Players are rewarded for searching and exploring, whilst challenged when they discover new areas."
That quote is taken from the description. This isn't Legend of Grimrock 2, it is a modification. This mod delivers a different experience, so adapt; search, and explore.

The lock picks are mainly used for chests. Some chests are buried, and of those some require lock picks to open. In addition, some visible chests are mystery boxes which require a lock pick to open.
Lock picks are only used for bonuses. They are not needed for plot-specific parts of the game.
I'm really glad you're enjoying it. Remember, if you're stuck on something - explore. You can always return to another area to find new solutions.
