Grimrock

there is some iron doors locked on previous levels, but I don't remember exactly where to tell you now. For now, my main problem is how to reach the central part of level 6 (or is it 5?) the "fire" level. I can see stuff like armor and treasure, but it's surrounded by small volcanos and I can't reach ithem. Other than that, guess (only guess), I figured everything else on the level. So far, 4 treasures and 22 secrets if i remember well.

It's level 5. You need to find 3 wall buttons, the square bronze kind. That will open a secret door hiding a teleporter near the stairs in the south west corner.

You should have 26 secrets and 6 treasures when you've finished level 6.

Level 3 = 5 secrets

Level 5 = 4 secrets
Level 6 = 5 secrets
Level 7 = 1 secret
Level 8 = 8 secrets
Level 9 = 2 secrets

Level 1 = 1 treasure
Level 2 = 1 treasure
Level 3 = 1 treasure
Level 4 = 1 treasure
Level 5 = 1 treasure
Level 6 = 1 treasure
Level 7 = 0
Level 8 = 2 treasures
Level 9 = 0

I already jump into the pit to level 3 where there is a button opening the grate level 2 just near the pit.
I got 6 gems so far. Did I miss any one?
Shall I feed the demon head with the gems on level 3?

The gear keys are to be used at the end of level 2, after you come up from level 3 the second time. You might also have a stack of them left if you find the key that the thieves left behind since that key opens many doors.

6 gems when you go down the first time sounds right.

Feeding the daemons the first time you go to level 3 will earn you a secret. However, you might need the gems later on so you have to get at least some of them back.

What did I missed?

Top students have enough gems for both eyes and mouths of the daemon heads that opens the row of doors. That's also where you'll eventually find the lever for the iron door by the stairs to level 4.

If you did that then you might have forgotten lesson #1. To give is to get. When you've filled the row of altars on level 3 a door opens and you'll find a room with 4 alcoves in it. Fill the alcoves and things will happen.

- I fed all demons and found secret full of books (area with energy bolt)
- I put gems in all eyes (12 gems)
- I pull a lever in the area full of monsters on level 3 not far from golden locks


but those two doors are still closed

- where are the altars on level 3? Not sure I got this..

Eyes and mouths. It's 18 gems that you need to open the row of doors. Filling the mouths too will open the two last doors and take you to the area with the altars.
