Thanks for the puzzly mod!
Had to really think and figure things out to get this far.
Now I'm almost finished, but I got stuck on level 13. Can someone help me?
I can't figure out how to absorb energy from the broken crystal on the hatred plane.
I used some of the energy tomes earlier on Spiderfighter, hope that doesn't ruin it for me...
A little feedback:
One infuriating thing was on one of the early levels where I had to change the color of the room to water.
I tried everything, and after half an hour I thought maybe I can't see all with my low graphics setting.
And that was the reason: Low rendering quality doesn't show the room with the colors at all!!
I use this setting to make the game smoother.. Using High rendering quality slows the game too much
for me to play normally. And hence it is impossible to run fast enough (for instance I couldn't go under
the 3 consecutive doors that shut down immediately)... But that's just my crappy computer
I have version 1.1 and the food and torches have lasted just fine (not using torch all the time).
IMO the secrets were a bit disappointing, usually just one room with unimportant stuff.
I would've liked at least a bit more battle after collecting all the gear down the road.
Plane shifting would be cool with more planes and monsters!
Puzzles are hard enough to the end, story is good and the staff spelling was really nice.
A totally playable, entertaining and well done dungeon (so far:))!

Well, you should have had a
spell description telling you what runes to use to absorb energy. You should have another spell description too, telling you how to get out of there.
If you don't have both of them, get back to the spot where you got the book (after the fight) and look for the adjacent mini-library.

If you define a spell with letters (top left = A, then B, top right = C etc.) these are the spells:

Thanks! Found the scroll after taking some time to go through the map and look for a hidden room.
Secrets 84, Time 6:50
Didn't find the Ogre disco though :/ ..gotta go back
Edit: Went from beginning to lvl8 and still couldn't find it.
Any hint where it is?

To get there:
- After you pass the twin guards, take the left door towards the fountain
- Then run three times around the fountain
- Leave the fountain area and go into the hallway to the west
- At the end of the hallway, face right
- Somewhere in the hallway you are in now there's a torchholder with, at the top right edge of the torchholder, a small secret button to the area you asked for.
Oh... The running around the fountain isn't really needed.

Hi Mahric. Love the mod but I'm stuck
I don't know if it's just that I'm not fast enough but the pit puzzle on proving grounds has me stumped. I found the button down below and I've clicked the other big button but still can't make it round that corner. That very last pit opens just as I step on it. Is there a button I'm missing some how?

You're not missing anything.
The button below is for an optional secret area and not needed for the solution.
After you pressed the big button, don't go left, but follow the path to the right.
Then you end up at the spot where you started and you can walk again. This time don't go right (to the place where the big button is), but keep hugging the left wall untill you're out.
(if you opened the secret you might need to wait a round for the pressure plates to come around again).

Well, besides
The overseer joining you, something else happened; he gave you the formula for a new spell.
You need to use the new spell in the area you already visited; the room with the pits and the floating tile in the middle.
