Mentioning all these possible bosses I'm sure there is someone with modelling and animation skills to give us these (if AH doesn't, I'm not sure how I'd react if the final boss really was a Sphere, pyramid or 2d square) and a 1d boss only visible from one side would be interesting (the LINE!?)

Now that there's going to be outdoor environments, I'm hoping for a Lands of Lore 1 type of structure, with distinct locations/dungeons. That game serves as a great template for diverse yet simple gameplay.
