+1 for that request. I've been playing Lost Continent some time ago and my conclusion was that I'll have the the biggest chances of survival with unarmed specialists constantly hunting snails for food.
I like this mod. I occasionally play it, starting from scratch every time there's a new version. BTW when new version is published and I continue playing with my old save, will I be able to notice any changes?

Thanks guys, I am taking all this feedback into account for next release.
Meditation: increased energy regen for mages. Much more regeneration if you "consume" some incense (more than double regen rate then, for a few minutes).
Saves between updates, I don't think it will work, alas.
Here are some screenshots about a few implemented systems.:
One of many new skills.
Now you get a bonus if you really know how to craft a particular type of item (no bonus here, the champions are "ignorant" in the crafting of this item. Attributes are also taken into considerations. So you could "specialize" in crafting, well, slings, for example.
The global list of skills. 5 levels (untrained, novice, adept, master, legendary.)
Hmmm, it seems you are a good runner now. You will be able to run for longer spans of time without tiring.
Books are randomized, between special skill points, global skill points, and native XP.
A work iin progress, rope are automatically used when crossing difficult or dangerous terrain. "Of Course", they also deteriorate with use.
As you can see, I don't do into "shiny stuff", I try to do into "old schools" skills and deep gameplay/systems.

another few words :
- skill book is breakable - when you use it often, it will break; quite surprise for me
- stacked projectiles will break all, when one is destroyed
- meditation skill is still strange for me - it doesnt want to increase
- no game crash from selling items yesterday, dont know what issue cause it the day before yesterday

I really like all the custom icons for the objects, nice. Is there any way to remove the sometimes white outline some of them have? Maybe a touch of grey to overlap the while, since they are on a grey background in the game. That might make them look even better!

Tx for feedback. I will look into all this, and try to fix things. The graphic fixinf might take a little while, as I am no artist
, but hopefully it will get better.
Thr ranged item breaking is indeed an issue I hadn't think about. Sounds bad, but I might try to do something
.
As for meditation, can you still upgrade it with global skill points ?

If you have Gimp, you can use the magic wand tool to select the empty space outside of the image, then in the Select menu you can choose "Grow" which allows you to add to that selection's area. Increase a few pixels and it will encroach upon the white border, allowing you to shade/erase that area without affecting the rest of the image.
Also, if you select the border itself with the magic wand tool, add in any bordering pixels you think it needs with additional selection, and shade it, you can use Grow to increase the selction to both sides and apply a minor Gaussian Blur effect, which will soften the edge. It takes some getting used to if you want to make it look nice, but even a very beginner to image editing can pick up the skill within a day as long as they follow the instructions.
<-- low-ranked novitiate image editor. Was very beginner. . .
Additional query, unrelated to the quote. Is Herboristery a word? I know Herbology is the study of herbs. . .
Noticed that when I started playing today.

Don't go to fast playing, I am in the finishing touches of a beta fixing/balance. It will be save compatible however.
Herboristerie is the french word for herbology I guess, I took a shortcut in the translation ^^
You will notice many typo/unproper grammatical use, try not to pay to much attention.
Tx for the gimp tips, I will try this, although not very soon. I already made some nice discoveries with gimp thanks to LoG ^^

BETA v2 bug balance fixes released (only ropes as a new craftable item...)
Ok thanks, however, once you reach novice, it will slowly increase overtime, and increase from consuming incense. Upgraded in the newly released, save compatible with Beta1 Beta 2 bug fixes.
