Holy damn.
At first, I thought it would only scratch a select few's nostalgia glands, but I keep seeing mainstream sites giving it thumbs up left and right.

Congratulations, AH. Reviving forgotten genres isn't always a successful endeavor, but it appears you've nailed it. Bravo. :D

It warms my soul to see so many great reviews. AH took a chance and it appears that they have hit the mark. I only wish that this spurs more such games to be made.

Populous remake would be nice. One that is more like the first 2. I want to throw a realistic volcano on someone's helpless village!
I'd take one of the four wooden clubs I was carrying and just bash open doors with it.
- if life were like Dungeon Master

I'd click FIREBALL much more on New Year's Eve
- if life were like Eye of the Beholder

Small translation of the final verdict:

PCM VERDICT - 5 STARS (OUT OF 5)
Legend of Grimrock is a game primarily focused on fans of oldschool dungeoncrawlers. And this group of people are served very well with Legend of Grimrock. We are deeply impressed by the ingenious puzzles en the strategic elements this "oldschool gameplay" provides. Legend of Grimrock is addicting. Oldschool rpg's has to be something you enjoy, but if you do, you can not miss Legend of Grimrock. Five stars!

PROS
oldschool rpg in a wonderfull new "jacket"
very ingenious puzzles
strategic combat

CONS
Not allot of classes
Magician could have been more efficient

Ps. hi all! :)
