Just started Volume 2 and mayor wont open gate.
I killed all the wolves before I even talked to mayor and maybe its bugged and wont register the kills?
Or maybe the pack leaders are elsewhere?
He says to kill all pack leaders...

In West Bastion underwater is a spike gate. Can I get to it without the key to the Bastion?
Or do I come back to it?

The key to the Bastion will be needed to enter the Bastion. Everything else is available immediately.

Can you give me a clue about this underwater grate with the little green mob running around?
It took me a long time to find that platform I needed throw a rock on.
And I walked around trying to throw the 3 levers in certain orders and nothing.
I have thrown the 3 levers above ground found the one rock pressure plate across water and the one in water and defeated the boss after teleporting into that hell storm of enemies. I have the tiger statue. Yet the steel spikes are still active.
Also stumped in Forest Grove...
I found a lot of plates and notes which refers to the Watcher and what he is. As well as loosening the idols. I opened what looks like a altar with a Rose on it but can not get to it.
I am finding a lot of places that need keys or figurines and keep thinking I am missing something in areas as your last Xeen was all accessible right away by walking with no keys. Well a lot of dungeons were that is.
By the way you can sleep underground in a dungeon and force it to be day light...

Why did you change your design so so so much!??
So many boss fights with no gear at end. And so few items all around.
With bleeding it is super important to have ice bombs all the time....
I think somewhere in the middle from Xeen Vol1 and this one would be better.
It is like non stop rooms with traps fighting 2 hard mobs or more in the dark no less...
I know you said you tested it on easy but easy is like sleep walking for me.
I was super looking forward to a continuation in style from the first one with maybe less items all over the place like herbs and food.

in Forest Grove...
Inspect the bookcases carefully.
Carefully study the surroundings of the lake - there are secret plates.
Keys and quest items are scattered around the world. If you can’t enter somewhere, then move on. The key will be somewhere else.
Yes, I couldn’t do a constant night, but I tried very hard
Several people who helped test the mod completely went through it on hard complexity.

It would be cool to get some tips for these areas please:
At the western bastion area
the spiked gate in the water also remains closed for me. I activated both pressure plates and killed all underwater foes.
At the blackfang castle area
in the house of the hydra there seems to be a secret but I can't access it. I killed all hydras there, the murloc and the underwater turtle, searched for buttons etc. but could not get to it.
In Kalindra's castle
I could not find the pass to her treasure room.
At the eastern bastion
I'm missing the password to enter. In which area can I find it? I deactivated some kind of shield for the boss in the underground there though and tried to use Zhenyan as a password but it did not work.
At the northern bastion
I wonder why there is no altar for the diamonds - it's strange. I'm missing the death orb and the spirit orb. One of them must be in the eastern bastion but where is the other?

1 - you need to access the underground passage
2 - in the Hydra house, put any item in the middle
3 - pass to the treasury you will find much later in another place
4 - look for a buried chest in the Jungle, there is a note with a password
5 - there is still a Death Dungeon ...
