Actually something similar happened to me with Pyramid of Xafi where I just couldn't kill a specific spider and as soon as I killed that the game would crash complaining of some duplicate id in torches :?
I remember I checked with the author and my savegame was able to crash in his machine too (where his mod worked perfectly of course).
I don't know what a dropbox is. I could email something if someone was interested in it. Or point out a place I can post it online. I don't mind helping out within the limited scope of my knowledge if it works for the greater good of things. I hate to think Grimwold is stopping modding because my system is having issues.

I created a new party this morning to try his room again and this time every push of the button crashed, I could not even get to a second push like before. So I have a fresh save game available to send.

I also just read up on the 1.3.7 beta and I think I will try that since it says it helps with Intel on board graphics, which my computer has.

Firstly, please don't think that my current lack of modding input is in any way to do with these problems.. I haven't really done anything since before Christmas, aside from check these boards and try to answer a few questions.

Secondly, when I get chance I will PM you with an email address so you can send me a save game file which I will test.

I get that the scrolls need to be in alphabetical order but starting from where? I've trid starting in all four corners so far and nothing has happened. And what with "the map in hand of mage" stuff?
Any help appreciated.

I am stuck in the room with the four slimes with the note that says The Flight of Wealth will Open the Passage To Poverty.
I have already put the correct gems on the altars yet I do not know what to do next.

listen close for teleporter sounds, try to be where they are at the right time

you need to place all the gems, but then grab one back and step into the room and then toss it back again

Yes, you're right. All libraries I've visited in my life had books arranged on shelves in alphabetical order from left to right. Seemed obvious to me.
It's sort of funny how I was thinking it's too obvious when making it up, but actually it turned out to be not obvious at all and make the riddle a total failure.
Next time I'll test my idea better (on relatives and friends) ;-)

After reading Skuggasvein who said "we all should know what kind of order it is since its a library " it all immediately made sense!

I've got the scrolls in alphabetical order in their respective cells, placed the Light and Dark in various places but still nothing happens. I can't see any switch I have to activate. Need help to progress please.
