I did not understand I had to put item in alcove. I was looking for letters to answer like it was with the chest in betrayal at krondor
I did not find what to do with : what has four legs and flies?
Can someone help or pm the answer?

I think I'm almost done but I don't know what to do next at level 5 : temple of Mangar
I have the clue "you must pass all eight tests once more" but I can't figure out what these tests are !
Also way earlier in the game I took the gifts of god so I went to Hell and looked everywhere down there but apparently there is nothing except respawning fire creatures. Am I missing something here or is it simply to late because I took the gifts ?

You should see some similarities to previous levels during the last level. That's all
passing the tests once more means.
You can go back and jump into hell again if you'd like.
You just need to put the gifts back into the proper alcoves in the four key rooms. The four gifts, if you don't remember are a fire torc, blue orb, scaled cloak and a brace of fortitude. In the next version I have these rooms embellished more to make it more obvious that these are the 'god' rooms.

Hi Lurker, you are sure not the only one who "wasted" a lot of his youth to playing the wonderful games of the Bardstale Series.
In my opinion Bardstale is still the first, the most challenging and well maybe the best of the best Dungeon-Crawler games.
Here is my ode to The Bardstale and to you kind sir, for remembering me to such a wonderful Game like Bardstale.
This are the first 3 Level -Layouts of "The Temple of the Mad God" called Tarjan from BT3.

I finished the game !!!
It's a very good mod, I really liked the riddles a lot. When you'll modify the few things you talked about already I'll probably play it again and try to find the few secrets I missed.

For this riddle, given the spirit of the level, I would have thought a shuriken
Can someone pm me what to do to enter the tarjan place please? Obviously, and even by reading all the tips provided by lurker, I cant make it. I am missing something obvious for sure but Im stuck right now...
