It's interesting to see how many interesting combos there are with only 3 classes when you take different builds into account. While I'm personally in favor of having like 3000 classes whether they are balanced or not, I understand the reasons for having just the core 3.
I won't decide for sure on a party until I start, but it will probably not be too adventurous. Either the standard WWRM party, or substituting a warrior for a 2nd mage or rogue. Since I plan on playing on hard and old-school mode I might play it safe and leave the second warrior.

You can feel free to call your figher a paladin if you want, but fighter, thief and wizard are the choises available.

Yes. Just like fighters can "specialize" in swords or clubs, for instance.

The question is, if certain races are better in certain classes...
Warrior/ rogue/
rogue/ Mage
seems most intersting to me, but tbh its impossible to make the party without deeper knowledge of the skills, traits and races...so i guess we have to wait.

Yeah it's just for fun, besides more and more details become available all the time!
I'm now seriously considering a Fighter and a Rogue in the front row, and a mage and something in the backrow, not sure what exactly.

For my first party, I'll think of some neat characters when I get the game.
But for the 2nd "Hard" playthrough, I know exactly what my party will be...
Hopefully, we'll get custom party images by then!

Slayers, man! Slayers.
One of the best anime shows ever. Basically, generic D&D adventures with a bunch of wacky protagonists. Very fun!
