As does Irfanview; (but Windows only). An excellent 'Swiss Army Knife' of a graphics editor; with a hefty bit feature creep, but it's a great application that seems to read just about anything you throw at it.

Little update, the stack of timber has a broken model.
Made a log of wood item defined as throwing weapon now.
If destroyed, some pieces of log will spawn. Useless yet - but exist as item.
Maybe use it to lighten a fireplace? Any ideas?

Two new custom sounds added - dm_woodfall and dm_hit_logwood.

Hi..

Yes that would be great. Just like the Camp fire needs the torch to light it you would also need some wood and maybe some kindle wood etc..
It could require the play to put say 3 x wood and 1 x torch to light the fire and then some scripting after the fire is lighted ahy..

I use the camp fire as a means of healing the party, but would could happen is when the fire is lighted the party goes into the rest or sleep mode.. :)

EDIT: Could the Logs roll onto the party say as a Trap and do damage lol..

Germanny, you can make the broken model of the timber as a alcove and by putting a torch into it the torch in the alcove and the broken model will be destroyed, a new torch will be spawned in hands and the fireplace with flames will be spawned instead of the broken model. The fireplace could be an alcove too and by putting a flask of water or a waterskin on it the fireplace with flames will be changed into a fireplace without flames and so on...
All is doable by a little work and some scripts.

Suggestion: replace the throwing sound with something like "Timber!" :D

Cool stuff Germanny. I was actually thinking there should be a fireplace alcove as well. The pressure of the heat from the flames building up in some hidden chamber could trigger the moving of gears to open some secret door or to activate some other event. Of course you would need some kindling provided by this model to start a big enough fire in the fireplace to set all those things in motion. So treat it as an alcove for the timber then as an alcove for a torch.

Another idea: you would probably want long shards or splinters to come out of the log pile instead of chunks of logs, as the former would be more appropriate for kindling. Also, would it be possible for these big splinters spawn around the wood pile with every hit for more realism?

All good ideas, will see what can be done. A furnace or fireplace would be great!

 Funny idea!

Just added a pickaxe, could used to dig the cave-in. (cave-in is ready with broken model, spawns boulder and stones!)
