The fire blade you found is empty, you need to re-kindle the fire in it, perhaps there is another item nearby you could combine with the sword using the special dual alcove you found
There is also a walkthrough included in the download, although even opening it kinda spoils the magic/fear of the place. If you need a more direct hint, feel free to PM me!

Decided to come back and play this MOD again in its final version. I am using the walkthrough to tell me how many secrets are in each level.
I am stuck on the second secret in the temple where you get flameheart. i have the one where there is a dead corpse that doesnt want to eat snails anymore but I cant find the other one.
do you have a more detailed list of secrets and locations?

I dont have a secrets walkthrough for HH2, like having some mystery left even if it is a year old now. Having said that, the source files are available on the nexus with the dungeon, and one could go that route to find all of the secrets. (Just went n peeked through, I could be pretty devious, even back then!) For the temple:
If you are on level 6: Temple, one of the secrets is an item in the antiquities shop.

I liked the "sword to put on the hook"
you have broke my heart when I understand that I can't bring the sword with me without this room! haha

Just finished this one.
6 Hours 33 Minutes. Only 10/26 secrets.
Was definitely a fun dungeon romp with a unique take on the story side, especially the ending. The chanting background music really set the mood nicely. The lightning ogres were really neat too.

I noticed on issue? not sure
when you pass on level 3, near the statue with the keyhole, there is always a message:
"He is returning I must go"
does the matrix button near the slime room in the level 4 stopping the infinite spawn of slime? I dont want to die stupid
all treasures are needed to finish the game? I m becoming to need place in my sacks

And no, there are purposefully faaar too many treasures to carry,(especially in that first "Treasure room") rendering them all essentially useless. Trapped with a billion dollars doesn't help if you can't bring it back to the world!

yes, it is looping forever.
I did it! I did kill all blob in the matrix room. first time i didnt stop the unlilited respawn, so It becomes a little "laggy" for my machine.
