If inventory management is the pinnacle of immersion into an RPG for you then... whatever floats your boat.
But don't be condescending to others who feel it's only a minor inconvenience.
And it all depends on how many bags of holding there are, how good they are, how much stuff the party is required to carry and how many party members there are (technically even dead members in Grimrock keep on carrying stuff, even equipped torches keep on working).
So don't be too eager to overgeneralize.
Have a nice day.
PS: Even my 4 mage party has enough inventory for me (cause I throw away almost everything but food), but I still think bags of holding are a neat idea.
I said "a sense of immersion" not "the sense of immersion". Now learn to read, it's pretty basic. And I never implied that I decide how the magic in Grimrock works, and
clearly there was someone other than me that made the decision to not include magic bags. All I did was arguing against the idea because I think it's a really bad one, so I'll present the case from the opposite side to let the devs know that not everyone want this. Furthermore, I never assaulted the OP, so don't you pin that on me and be careful of blind accusations in the future.

Maybe if you actually needed those bags sure but I've beaten the game mulitiple times on multiple difficulties and I always end up with extreme excess at the end. Supplies aren't so low in this game that it warrants this idea.
I don't see the need either, not even as solo. There are only a few things you do need, everything else is trash. Depending on your build, what is a treasure and what is trash is different of course.
Soon people would want loot bots (loot all on screen!!!) to go with their bags of holding, and ask for a shop mod so they can sell their lewt and buy new phat lewt in... seriously, though, there are no need to carry so much around in LoG.
