It's not wrong, rather very practical.
You can't have it both ways. You can't say "oh, well, this isn't other games" when people compare this to other games, but then insist that if they are bad at this they must be bad at other games. Pick one. Either this has basically comparable qualities, and ability in other games is a relevant thing to consider, or it's not, in which case the "you must be suffering in many other game genres" claim is false.

To the middle aged gamer, good news. My father is 69, playing well in this game stock. He played Kingdom of Amular, a fast paced rpg, he used a hack to make it even faster! The good news is we don't seem to loose it as much as one may think. Hell Glenn Tipton can still shred like a mofo for Judas Priest in his 60's.

Not that anyone is taking it this far, but reading this I start to visualize the local yocal in their wheelchair going to every shop in town, making sure they have a ramp, making sure the isles are at least 38" wide etc and if not, he heads to city hall.

Yes to anyone with an issue use the console or something else to simply slow the game timer down. At 70% it's a whole different game.

What the developers decide to do next is entirely up to them. I gave them feedback on my difficulties (they have asked for feedback) as have many others. And others have told them to change nothing. I know they read these forums because Petri posted a reply to my original post. They obviously care about their game & about the players. Whatever they do is fine with me. If they don't make any changes to difficulty - so be it. If they release new content it may or may not extend the time I can enjoy the game. Whatever they do I wish them well. I'm sure they will reap rewards and hopefully receive awards.

Yeah. I personally think your feedback seems really useful. I would love to see an option for making things a little more forgiving, but heck, the mod community can provide that if all else fails. :)

Well, if you want to make arguments which aren't mutually exclusive, you're welcome to pick one and try to assert it. As is, you've got two claims on the table such that if one of them is both true and relevant, the other isn't.

I'm taking the point about nerve conduction velocity as conceded, though.

The only thing that royaly **** me off was the puzzles some of them I nearly gave up on the entire game it was only because of walkthroughs that I went through!

I've heard that LoG added mouse control for people with disability, but the puzzle on Level 6 makes me wonder how a person who can only use mouse solve that. Even with 2 hands, it still took me >50 tries to eventually solve it. This game really require a quick finger reflex even on easy mode (possibly because difficultly level only apply to monsters not puzzles).

Load save game & try again repeatedly but same result. For me the game has come to dead stop.
I start a new game with a different party but I now know the answers to the puzzles so no great satisfaction in solving them again. Halfway through level 2 & I'm thinking if I persevere & kill all those spiders again I'll be stuck in exactly the same place. Will I then create another party & play levels 1-3 again? I suspect not.
OK I had fun playing up to now & with the cheap price AH charged I don't feel ripped off. In no way are AH at fault for the game not being suited to me (the game they released is after all the one they designed) but I am disappointed because I was so looking forward to playing it. If there were options other than being able to select combat to easy/normal/hard I might be able to adapt my inadequate combat skills but, unless there was a turn-based option, I suspect not.
Maybe the modders will create something which will let me proceed further. I can only hope.
I am a veteran of EoB, DM, CSB, etc - and this room gave me fits at first. Took easily 5+ tries on normal difficulty to get past those two herders. Lots of quick stepping and situational awareness was needed, as well as really really focusing on killing one as quickly as possible...
