Does Toorum level up faster than a normal party (because he isn't sharing XP)?

I'm just starting a game, and I'm wondering if I should expect to finish with roughly the same amount of skill points as a normal party, or if I'll have a few more.

ok. Thanks.

I guess that means I'll be using all axes all the way. I don't reckon a single character can get enough energy to kill everything with spells alone. So if Toorum doesn't have additional skill points, then I don't think I should put anything into spells except maybe for Light / Dark.

On the other hand, I do think it would be more fun to use a bit of everything. And fun is what this is all about, so maybe I should use spells even if it's going to be less effective...
