Hey John,

Glad to hear you're okay first of all. You don't have anything to apologize to us for. Real life is always way more important than silly role playing video games, and the most is important thing is that you're on the road to getting better. This project would have never gotten off the ground at all if it wasn't for all your hard work in putting it together. I think I speak for everybody here in saying that we would love you to make your contribution to the project if you feel up to it, and if not, that's okay too. Either way, I'll be damned if your name isn't in the credits! I wish you the best, and hopefully we'll see you around the boards in the future.

Take care,

Kevin

Everything has been said that I was going to say, yet I could say it again.

It is good to hear from you, even though it was a hard read.

Hang in there! You know we are all by your side. :)

We love you too, John.
I am most pleased that you are getting help.
You need not feel as guilty as you do. I am sure that we are not hurt because you left, but only because we could do nothing to help.
I look forward to working with you again in the future.
If you have a chance to check out a link in my signature, I have become a part of another ambitious project.

If you ever ever ever need someone to talk to, get a hold of me. I'll drop what I'm doing to help.
With love and best wishes,
-Jeremy

You guys seriously overwhelm me. This is anything but a silly gaming forum. I wish I had time to reply to everyone, but today has been a really difficult day (personal issues, but aren't they all), and I have more work to do before it's over.

I just...I have no words. I can't tell you how much your grace means to me. I'm honored to know each and everyone of you, and I sincerely hope that some day I can meet you all face to face and buy each of you a...well, I guess that would be a coffee. :)

Tomorrow I'm going to try to get to the personal messages you've all sent, but for now I'd like to ask for another day for me to decide about adding a room to this project (or joining another one, as someone very generously offered!), only because I want to make certain that, if I accept, it means I can actually devote the time and energy to doing what I say I'm going to do this time. I can't honestly believe you're all offering to let me do this. I'll be back in the morning to let you know, so I'm not holding things up any longer.

You gus are...just...
thank you.

Oh! @ JW: Did that easter egg you cooked up make it into the final version? :)

*deep breath*

I've been really struggling with this the last 24 hours or so. That you guys have welcomed me back into the fold with open arms blew me away, as I was expecting anything but that. I want so badly to get back up and tackle my room, or even another project. But this morning, I know what's going on, and what's expected of me.

Yesterday, I had some personal problems happening, and I relapsed. Part of it is my own fault (well, all of it). Instead of doing my normal schedule yesterday (every day I do my support group, journal, AA meeting, plus do work involving my Higher Power), I called an old friend and talked for a couple of hours which threw me off for the rest of the day. When personal issues hit later that afternoon, I wasn't ready. This morning, after waking up angry and depressed, I'm looking at it as a test, one that I failed, and I think it's my HP telling me I'm not yet ready to take the wheel, and that I need to stick to the schedule for now.

So I thank you guys with all of my heart, but I can't accept right now. I need to get healthier first. It saddens me, as my own mod is sitting on my HD collecting dust (and I see we already have a new version of the editor, so I'm sure it will be ancient looking if it ever sees the light of day), but my time needs to be devoted elsewhere right now.

I'll still be around the forums, and I hope that one day you'll ask me again. Thank you guys so much for picking up the ball and taking it all the way to the end zone; you've all done so much amazing work on it, and I want the world to see! If I can help in any other way, please let me know.

God bless you guys. You'll never know how much you've really helped me.

@JW: Good. While I love all the rooms, that easter egg is probably my favorite part of the whole mod, simply because it's such an unexpected joy.

@hyteria: I think I have enough challenges on my plate at the moment, but thanks. lol I'm sorry that I never got to the other tutorials I had lined up, especially since the new editor is passing me by. Hopefully someday (before it becomes obsolete) I can get back into it and do some more.

EDIT: (Oh, and this will be my last "heavy" post. Back to the party!! Someone pass me a Diet Coke. :D )

Sorry to hear of your troubles SpiderFighter.. glad you are back on the forum and I hope things work out for the best.

We playtested half of the dungeon last night and I have sent some feedback to Skuggasveinn. So far so good though, some fantastic rooms!

One question: is it possible to play the unpublished dungeon through the game itself rather than the dungeon editor? Not being able to save is annoying and when we died I had to recreate all the items we picked up further along in the dungeon.

Yes, just press Export (IIRC can't open the editor now) in the file menu and voilà it creates a .dat file which can be used to play from the game.

BTW, I completed in game a full run with a cheat party (level 30something characters) and everything seemed ok, apart a few points I reported to Skuggasvein. As soon as I can I'll do a run through with a normal party to also check encounter balance.
