I'll be frank- first time I've heard his tunes was in a Fallout New Vegas radio mod, which had lots of 30's-40's songs in it. I became addicted to it, and searched for more.
Turns out my folks have one of his CDs.

His music can be so... emotional, but not in a sappy way. Kind of hard to explain. In any case, he was awesome. Here's some of my favorite tunes he made:

As an aside, the large amount of metal in this thread is fairly amusing, haha.
