clicks are a good thing

OK, So i have read the spoilers posted for the Legend of grimrock master quest ,level 5, deserted hallways. BUT, i am having an issue. Every time i pull the level to que the telaporter the level also drops the wooden door in front of if causing me to do an extra step. I dont know if i am just doing something wrong,not doing something fast enough, or its bugged because i see zero way to actually make this in time because i am forced to do the extra step of opening the wooden door. anyone have this problem?
please help i am going crazy.

Beside the extra door this puzzle is the same as in the original dungeon. Even the timings are the same!
If you can do the original how can you fail here?

Perhaps you are tempted to wait until the door opens wide enough to throw something .. well .. don't! Make a step backwards right after you caused the wooden door to open then throw then move sideways, without turning!

Yeah, the trick is to reduce your actions as much as possible, get used to stepping sideways or backwards, keep the mouse pointer in the middle, etc. Reducing your turns to the minimum needed is probably the biggest time saver.

I'm on level 9 after the area with the ice lizards. I got one of the ornate keys but don't know where the other is. And franky, I'm not even sure where I got the first one to begin with... So if someone could give me the location of both? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
I would have looked through the walkthrough, but it ends with level 7? I think it is level seven.

By the time you reach the double ornate lock you can only have one key so you have to keep looking for the other one.
