a this level the champions can have full resistance into some of the four magics, so high level monster can cast spells but they would not harm the champions. I finally added a physical damage to all their spells, that's why they can hurt you.
Hope you will not get discouraged, the way is long, about 35-40 hours of playing, depends on what you will choose later.
The characters I'm playing with have 100% resistance to fire and shock and almost 100% to the other two.
Also, I'm probably playing with an older version of the mod, as the goromorgs didn't do any physical damage. But the fact they were grouped did startle me, as it ment their attacks were coming faster.
I'm more worried about all the falling rocks. At least I'm always warned by a writing on the wall. Sometimes it's brutal, as my characters are alraedy slowed by all the stuff they're carrying... Unfortunatelly, I'm the type that doesn't want to leave anything behind... Which I already had to do...
BTW: Is it true that one of the doors is opened by a compas? Just so I can make a note when I play this again from the begining so that I don't just throw it away somewhere.
well this is strange, but maybe you have not meet the "real" goromorg now. did they do any damage to you?
Well there is no need to carry all things to the end, like some "basic" note, old weapons or old armor stuff, I don't know. When I played it, I did carry a lot, exept weapons and armor, but finally throw away basic throwing weapons, like standard dart, throwing knives, shuriken or simple arrows. And yes the compass is used to open a few doors later. Don't remember how many, 2, maybe 3. Even if you don't keep your first compass, they are other in the mod. I always let required items to open anything, not so far than the place they are needed.
Okay, so maybe the goromorgs did damage... I don't really remember, I know they did Ice damage for sure, as my Ice resistance is the lowest so far, but to be honest, I just made sure to get away from there as fast as possible.
As for throwing weapons, I don't use them at all, my rogue is a dagger type. It's easier than throwing weapons. I don't have to go back and collect what I used. But I do like to keep them all. And my rogue is actually the only one who is not weighed down by the items. More than anything else, I'm overloaded with potions and potion ingredients, as I don't really use them.
I guess I just like to collect things...

I think all players like to have a lot of "collector" items in their inventory
well, try to stay on their way for a little time, I'm sure you will notice something that scratches you

Found a major bug in the new version: the hidden pressure plate at 19, 12 on level 4 gives you another 500 xp every time you step on it, so you can get infinite experience.

thanks you for your reply, fixed now!
maybe this occurs because I have changed how you activate the secret (as I got problem in the total count) and I forgot to make it activated once.
At your level, does it realy change anything? I dont know at which level your party is, but maybe 500xp is too little to increase your level a lot.

Bonjour francesalam,
"I let only pass the light" il faut utiliser des torches sur les supports.
"you can open this door" il faut mettre n'importe quel objet par terre, derrière la grille.
Bon jeu

Iron door - to break a rock. What do I put in the alcove?
I tried icefall hammer. Didn't work. Do they want a specific hammer? Or is it something different?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Pickaxe worked wonders.
Thanks. HOwever, I'm now stuck on level... I think the Iron door was on level 9, so on level 10. The level with respawning scavengers. I found two blue gems, opened a door, found a red gem. However, I'm not sure what to do next... There are certain areas I wasn't able to access, as they are blocked by grates. One of them can be jumped into, but the rest... Are they openable with secret buttons or is there more to it? One is near the center of the map and the other is somwhere in the lower half of east part, I think. Thanks in advance for help.
But seriously, I stop playing for a week or so and I'm completely disoriented...
