This blurr is caused by going fullscreen with a non-native display resolution. To prevent blurr better go windowed or borderless windowed with your desktop using the display's native resolution.

Windowed sucks. Really, I hate that with a passion.

That is essentially the same as full screen 1920x1080, because my monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080. Of course I could play on my second monitor, which is an SVGA CRT monitor. No blurryness there, but it's not wide screen (if only).

It's always something

Yeah that's something lost to our digital display age. On my CRT's resolution could be 320x200 or 1280x1024 and blurr was never a real issue. It only mattered when i pushed my CRT's beyond their capabilities i.e. going 1600x1200.

Lost? CRTs are better than ever now that you can get them for free. I have like 6 of them in a closet.

Why should I want more of them? I already gave 2 away. The only time my remaining CRT's see a use is when i need additional displays for i.e. building a new system or fixing one. Today LCD's are in any regard superior to CRT's: sharpness, resolution, power consumption, color calibration, whatever. The one and only requirement is that the gpu/system-combo is able to power the LCD's native resolution properly. Sure i can hook a 28+ inch HD+ display onto a onboard/build-in/low-end gpu. That's nice with videos but not games.

Jirodyne wrote:One thing I really want improved apon is the Secret Buttons. An example being most of the dungeons have 1 single tileset, and that tileset has 2 buttons on the walls. One big circle one. Or one tiny little one. The problem is, they are all in the same spot! So you just look at that spot, then side step along the wall looking for the one tile where something is sticking out in that spot, and bam! secret button! Grimrock 1, if I remember, had 1 secret button in the beginning. But when you got to the higher levels, they added in a second one in a different spot on the wall, so you had to look in two spots to see the button.

..
I agree with this so far.

But this is more DM / EOTB , etc and Log 1 style" This could fit in log2 but then its really hard to find it.

Again I suggest to play my dungeon please. Its more based in the old school. The dungeon is. No fancy shit and puzzels. Just play it and be wondering and enjoy it. Thats it rly.

I mean by this: I tried mods of Log1 . THey are fantastic but also very hard. Its more foccues on the hard mode and new fancy features then the game it self.

I decided to NOT to that and just make a dungeon with some new sounds and music.

Not all dungeon crawler fans like a "to "hard game.

Cut the puzzles down by 99%. Most of them are zero fun and are very annoying. Grimrock one was the same; Great game terrible puzzles.

Here is a really fantastic way to Improve Grimrock

Step 1: Open the Editor
Step 2: Create a Mod
Step 3: Upload your finished product or WIP for others to critique or enjoy
Step 4: Rinse and Repeat!!

The solutions are already manifest.
